Alfa Laval wins SEK 55 million energy-efficiency order in Italy
Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has won an order in Italy to supply various pieces of equipment to a new petrochemical plant in Slovakia. The order, booked in the Energy & Process segment, has a value of approximately SEK 55 million and delivery is scheduled for 2016.
The order includes various gas boilers that will be installed in a process line in an ammonia production plant in Slovakia.
“Our equipment will re-use heat in the ammonia production process and thereby contribute to a very energy-efficient system, with low environmental impact,” says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group. “The order confirms our products’ ability to meet the high demands of the petrochemical industry.”
Did you know that… Alfa Laval has been present in Italy for more than 100 years – more specifically, since 1911?
